NOLA-PS Common Application Process (NCAP) Open Enrollment begins on June 5th.

Students already enrolled at Homer Plessy Community School during the 2023-24 school year will not need to reapply through the common app.

For further information, you may call 1-877-343-4773. Most parents receive a call from our central number, (877) 343-4773, within 2 business days or less.

New Students

My Student has received placement at Plessy Community Schools through Common App!

 
 

When placements are announced by Enrollment for the 23-24 school year, families that have Homer A. Plessy Community School as their placement will need to complete the above 2023-2024 Registration to accept your child’s seat. After you have completed this, your child’s online registration will be sent to you (second week of July) to complete and provide required documentation (see list on right).

Documents required at Registration:

  • Driver’s license of parent(s)/guardian(s)

  • Student’s birth certificate

  • Student’s immunization records

  • Proof of residency (utility/water bill, lease, voter’s registration card, homestead exemption, cable/internet bill)

  • Proof of income (PreK ONLY): Last (4) consecutive paystubs, W2, foodstamp printout etc..

  • copy of IEP/504 Plan, if this applies to your child

  • Any custody paperwork, if applicable

Students are not required to wear a uniform at Plessy.

If you would like to purchase a t-shirt with the logo, you can do so at Logo Express (sold at Logo Express.)

We recommend tennis shoes for all students (no particular color or style). 

Returning Students

We can’t wait to see you back!

Please make sure to complete re-registration paperwork for your student and provide a proof of residence. Come to the school if you need to complete re-registration paperwork. Please note: If you have not completed the bus form for the 2024-25 school year, you may not be included on the bus route, so please complete and bring in as soon as possible.
