2018-2019 Plessy Business Council Members:
Support Where it Counts
As a community school, one of our top priorities is to connect and collaborate with the New Orleans' leaders and businesses. To foster this connection, Plessy School has created the Plessy Business Council. This constituency of businesses will serve as honorary mentors and ambassadors for our growing school and make a direct impact in the educational outcomes for Plessy students.
We are actively seeking companies to join our inaugural council. As the only school in the historic French Quarter, we are seeking patrons that feel a connection to our "little red school house" and our PreK 4- 7th grade children we will educate within its walls.
With an annual sponsorship of $1,000, Plessy Business Council members can provide valuable resources our students, classrooms, and our true treasures, our teachers. At this level of giving, your company could provide, for example, a semester of one on one musical instruction with a violinist from the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra for our strings students, 10 iPads for a classroom, or 8 hours of cutting edge Professional Development for Plessy School teachers. But why stop there? We welcome our Plessy Business Council members to dream of possibilities to enrich our community!
At this giving level, the Plessy Business Council members will receive:
- supporting sponsorship for the school's annual Plessy Fest
- publicized recognition as a Plessy community partner via marketing, public relations, web and social media campaigns, and school newsletters
- an invitation to the annual Business Council Appreciation party
- custom student art to commemorate the partnership
