Application Process, Dates, And Deadlines For 2019-2020 School Year

Homer A. Plessy School participates in the OneApp. Main Round Enrollment will begin November 19, 2018 and run throughout February 22, 2018.

Students already enrolled at Plessy School will not need to reapply (see re-registration paperwork below if you are a current Plessy family), but younger siblings not enrolled will. Please visit the OneApp webpage to begin the registration process. For further information, you may call 1-877-343-4773.
When placements are announced by OneApp, families that have Homer A. Plessy as their placement will need to complete the attached paperwork and deliver to the school (or email: firstname.lastname@example.org).
Driver’s license of parent(s)/guardian(s)
Student’s birth certificate
Student’s immunization records
Proof of income (PreK ONLY): Last (4) consecutive paystubs, W2, foodstamp printout etc..
2 proofs of residency (utility/water bill, lease, voter’s registration card, homestead exemption, cable/internet bill)
Pre-K (4 years old) has both tuition based and LA4 based seats (tuition free) available. Eligibility for these programs can be determined here. Those who enroll in the Pre-K tuition based program, the tuition for the year is $4,580 which breaks down to $508.89 per month beginning in September and ending in May. If you are able to pay the entire amount before the school year begins, you will receive a $100 discount ($4,480).
If you would like your student to attend Plessy but were assigned during the first two rounds of the OneApp to a different school, or if you did not apply through either round of OneApp you can still apply through Late Enrollment (those entering PK) by visiting a Family Resource Center or through OneApp’s Round 2 application (K-8th).

All returning students will need to provide a proof of residency and the attached paperwork below. This paperwork has been distributed and will not be reprinted. Please either fill out below and email to email@example.com or print out and bring to the school with the proof of residency by May 22.
